An exchange meeting of the Greater Sunni Alliance was held at the Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP) Cumilla District Office on the afternoon of 2 November (Sunday) to ensure the implementation of the alliance’s divisional programs. The meeting was chaired by Maulana Abdul Mannan and conducted by Md. Habibur Rahman Payel, General Secretary of BSP Cumilla District.
The key speakers at the meeting were Shah Mohammad Aslam Hossain, Additional Secretary General of the Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP); Principal S. U. M. Abdus Samad, Secretary General of Bangladesh Islamic Front; and Principal Allama Zainul Abedin Jubair, Secretary General of Islamic Front Bangladesh.
Detailed discussions were held to ensure the success of the Grand Rally of the Greater Sunni Alliance, scheduled to be held on 29 November at the Cumilla Town Hall Ground.
Speeches were also delivered by Mufti Baki Billah Al-Azhari, President of BSP Cumilla District, and Maulana Abu Bakkar Siddiq, President of Islamic Front Bangladesh, Cumilla District, among others.
The meeting finalized that the grand rally would begin at 2:00 PM on 29 November, and formed a preparation committee while adopting several important organizational decisions.
