Chairman of Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP) and Sajjadanashin of Maizbhandar Darbar Sharif, Dr. Shahzada Syed Saifuddin Ahmad Al-Hasani Maizbhandari, has expressed deep sorrow at the reported demise of former three-time Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
In a condolence message, he said, “As the wife of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, Bir Uttam, Begum Khaleda Zia was a devoted political leader and a compassionate mother who dedicated her life to the struggle for democracy and the welfare of the country and its people. Her illustrious political career will remain a source of inspiration for the nation.”
He further prayed, “May Almighty Allah grant peace to her soul and bestow upon her Jannatul Ferdous.”
Dr. Saifuddin Ahmad Al-Hasani Maizbhandari also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and all supporters of Begum Khaleda Zia.
