BSP Chairman’s Condolence Message on the Passing of Former President Badruddoza Chowdhury

Former President Professor A. Q. M. Badruddoza Chowdhury has passed away. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. He died at 3:15 a.m. on Friday night at Women’s Medical College Hospital in the capital. The Chairman of Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP) and Liberal Islamic Alliance, Shahzada Dr. Syed Saifuddin Ahmed Maizbhandari, expressed his deep sorrow and respect at the news of his passing.

In an official condolence message on BSP’s Facebook page, Dr. Syed Saifuddin Ahmed Maizbhandari described Professor Badruddoza Chowdhury as a humble, selfless, and patriotic individual. The BSP Chairman also highlighted that he was a devoted follower of Islam, a Sufi by nature, and a proponent of unity and tolerance. He remarked, “The loss of such a distinguished figure is an irreplaceable setback for our nation.”

Dr. Syed Saifuddin extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of the former President, praying for his forgiveness and peace in the hereafter. He invoked blessings upon him and prayed to Almighty Allah for his eternal peace.
