With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Additional Secretary General of the Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP) and former Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP). He passed away today, Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 5:30 PM, while undergoing treatment at Kurmitola General Hospital, Dhaka.

The late Abul Kalam Azad was a selfless, devoted, compassionate, and ever-smiling patriotic political leader. His dedication, honesty, integrity, intellect, and strong sense of responsibility made him an unforgettable figure among BSP leaders, activists, and the Sufi-minded community.
His tireless efforts in the formation of the Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP) will forever be remembered with deep respect. His contributions will be written in golden letters in the history of BSP.
His demise is an irreparable loss for the BSP and the nation, a void that can never truly be filled.
On behalf of the Central Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Supreme Party, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family, relatives, and admirers. We pray that Almighty Allah grants him Jannatul Ferdous and gives strength to his loved ones to bear this great loss.
