BSP Chairman Syed Saifuddin Ahmad Maizbhandari was the chief guest at the Chittagong Fatikchari Assembly

Anti-independence reactionary circles have formed an alliance around the elections. For the sake of the country and the people, all the supporters of the liberation war must unite and stop this reactionary group. On 16 September 2023, on Saturday afternoon, Fatikchari Upazila Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP) organized a public meeting at the initiative of Fatikchari Upazila Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP) to demand action against anti-national conspiracies, increase in commodity prices and market syndicates, free, fair and impartial elections according to the constitution. Dr. Syed Saifuddin Ahmad Maizvand-ari said this in the speech of the chief guest.
He said, there is no sector without corruption. Corrupt people launder crores of rupees through corruption. The workers, farmers and hardworking people of this country have to pay the price. Because of the corrupt people, daily necessities in the market are increasing day by day and the rate of unemployment is increasing. He said that the names and addresses of the people should be published immediately against the corrupt people. If these corrupt people are not brought under the law, they will swallow the country.

The Chairman of BSP and Liberal Islamic Alliance said, I am the son of this Fatikchari, I have always tried to stand by the people of Fatikchari during the disaster. I want to be by the side of the people of Fatikchari for any need of the people of Fatikchari in the future. Fatikchari is my area, but there has been massive development throughout the country during the current government’s tenure, but the desired development has not happened in Fatikchari.

It was necessary to develop Phatikchari, a green land of natural beauty, as a planned tourist zone, cold storage for farmers to process agricultural products, and a veterinary college for the treatment of livestock and birds. Sad but true! No one has taken this initiative for the welfare of Fatikchari residents. To protect the people of Phatikchari from the flood, a partial initiative has bee

n taken to construct barrages on the Halda River, Sartva Canal, and Durm Canal, but no comprehensive and planned initiative has been taken. Phatikchari is far behind other places in the country regarding infrastructural development. A railway line of only forty kilometres from Nazirhat to Ramgarh land port could be connected with Chittagong port for import and export facility with India’s Tripura. But no one took these initiatives. He said, there are 17 tea gardens in Phatikchari. This tea industry is enriching the country’s economy. But unfortunately, the workers involved in the tea industry are living an inhumane life. If the residents of Fatikchari give me the opportunity, I will work together with all the workers involved in the tea industry to improve the quality of life of all low-income earners and also for the development of Fatikchari, inshallah.
About the election, Syed Saifuddin Ahmad Maizbhandari said that a fair and impartial election should be held with the participation of all parties by putting a permanent end to the government controversy during the election period through the dialogue of all the political parties. But people do not want to see an unelected government in the name of a caretaker government. Any election should be done in the light of the Constitution. He said that if the election environment is right, the Liberal Islamic Alliance led by the Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP) will participate in the next election. Inshallah!

Liberal Islamic Alliance Chairman Dr. Shahzada. Syed Saifuddin Ahmad Maizbhandari demanded the inclusion of the country’s mosque imams, khatibs, muezzins, temple priests, servants, and church clergy in government revenue.
Fatichhari Upazila BSP Convenor HM Manjurul Anwar Chowdhury presided over the public meeting as the special guests were Executive Chairman of Liberal Islamic Jot and Chairman of Bangladesh Islami Oikya Jot Michbahur Rahman Chowdhury, Co-Chairman of Liberal Islamic Jot and Chairman of Bangladesh Jandal (BJD) Mahbubur Rahman Joy Chowdhury. Special guest Michabahur Rahman Chowdhury said that in the current political instability of the country, radical anti-independence militant groups are once again threatening the independence and sovereignty of the country with the help of local and foreign circles. At this point, people have no choice but to resist them. He said that the political parties which have been banned for anti-independence and radical activities till now are Freedom North. The list of all these banned organizations and their leaders along with their names and addresses and past activities should be immediately informed to the people of the country.
He also said that the justice candidates have the right to get justice. Similarly, if someone is innocent, he has the right to get justice. If someone is sued then he should respect the law. But the foreigner’s naked interference on the judicial system of the country is not desirable in any way.  We strongly condemn and protest the foreigner’s statement about Dr Yunus and the interference in our independent judicial system.
